What We Are Doing
|
The conference draws participation from distinguished guest speakers from high level government institutions, development partners, private sector institutions and academia specialising in logistics and infrastructure development to provoke discussion on various subthemes: Challenges – What Needs to be Done? Major Players and Issues (Planning, Implementation and Regulatory Framework), Working Together to Make it Happen, and Major Success Factors.
The development of infrastructure and logistics has been identified as a key pillar in various major development policies including Rectangular Strategy III, National Strategic Development Plan, Industrial Development Policy 2015-25, Cambodia Trade Integration Strategy 2014-18 and the Master Plan for Transport Infrastructure Development. This greater emphasis on building a comprehensive and efficient infrastructure and logistics system to drive the country’s next stage of development makes the conference discussion highly policy relevant. |
Our History |
Cambodia Outlook Conference 2015 under the theme of “ASEAN Economic Community 2015 and beyond: Our Reform Agenda”
The conference discussed on Cambodia’s industrial sector where Cambodian businesses – both big and small – will gain preferential access to a large and growing ASEAN market, benefit from increased intra-ASEAN investment, integrate into regional production networks and move up the value-added chain. This will provide good opportunities for up and down linkages whilst stimulating a diverse array of secondary industries. see more |
