Development Research Forum Symposium
2015 DRF Symposium on “Building Research Capacity for Cambodia” will be organised on 15-16 September 2015 by a partnership of the Cambodia Development Resource Institute, Cambodia Economic Association, The Learning Institute, National Institute of Public Health, Royal University of Agriculture, Royal University of Phnom Penh and the Supreme National Economic Council, with support from the International Development Research Centre of Canada.

The DRF Symposium, held annually since 2008, is a key activity of the Cambodia Development Research Forum (DRF). The 2015 DRF Symposium theme “Building Research Capacity for Cambodia” is organised by a partnership of the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) as coordinator of the DRF, and its DRF partners: Cambodia Economic Association (CEA), The Learning Institute (LI), National Institute of Public Health (NIPH), Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) and the Supreme National Economic Council (SNEC), with support from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada. The Symposium |
The annual symposium will bring together some 250 emerging and established Cambodian researchers, academics and scholars to discuss insights generated by the six Research Interest Groups (RIGs) on the following themes: growth and inclusiveness, governance of natural resources, social policy on education, social policy on health, agricultural development, and Cambodia and its region. Each of these sectors will also consider the education policy, reform and research priorities for that specific sector and their implications for a broader national development agenda.
